Trekking in Romagna

The people, who think that, in order to go on beautiful mountain hikes, you have to spend a holiday in the Alps or in other mountains far away, have undervalued the fascination and the beauty of Romagnol Apennines, rich in culture, nature and food. Romagna, famous all over Europe for its Riviera, has got a beautiful inland, partly unknown. This part of our Region offers one of the most important path network in Italy. The paths are well marked and described in maps, brochures and panels especially inside our “Foreste Casentinesi” National Park. And there are professional local guides eager to help YOU. So, please, contact us and we will do our best to be YOUR guides in our mountains. The proposal is addressed to families, people at all ages, sport-loving groups, Workers Recreational and Welfare Centres. There is a wide choice of hikes, MTB rides and even the inland of our Region is full of accommodation facilities – Bed & Breakfast, Hostels, Farm Holidays and Hotels. There are eating places in every small village. Some restaurants are famous all over Italy for their haute cuisine, some places are local “trattorie” or “osterie”, part of the Slow Food tradition. You can have the opportunity of tasting our food and drinking our wine after each excursion, just a few kilometres away from the towns of the plain and of the coast, in an area far from the chaotic and noisy contemporary life.
